BRING A MODEL, SEE A MODEL!
Our meetings are gatherings of camaraderie and acceptance to discuss ideas and offer advice on each other projects! We are an enthusiastic group always eager to welcome a new face and admire each other handiwork. We have a wide range of skill sets from novice, young builders to expert, seasoned craftspeople. If you have any curiosity, come and meet us, we’ll be happy to show you the ropes and offer guidance.
Our monthly meetings are generally 7:00P on the first Thursday of every month at the Independence Seaport Museum. Parking is available next to the museum and is free to confirmed members of the club.
Our meeting agenda is typically as follows:
- Pledge of allegiance to the United States flag
- Visitor introductions
- Topic of interest/Modeling Technique
- “Show & Tell”
- Refreshments & Socializing
- Club Business

Parking is available directly next to the museum with entrances as Walnut St and Market St. Cost is $20 for non-members, first visit is reimbursed by the club if arranged ahead of time.
To find our meeting place in the museum:
Enter through the main front doors, turn right down the hall and access the elevator on the right. Proceed to the 2nd floor, turn right and go through the double doors into a room full of boats on holding racks. There double doors in that room that lead to our meeting room. Ask anyone you see for directions, they’ll be able to help.
